Open Faced Steak Sandwiches

These are pretty simple and very straightforward.  I wont bog you down with unnecessary details – just follow the pictures and experiment with what works for you.  All you need is: steak, jalapenos, pepperjack cheese, lettuce and english muffins.  Obviously you can also experiment with other ingredients and use what work for you.  I am usually just trying to use left over ingredients from other meals that I already have on hand.


Cook the steak:















Chop up some jalapenos:




























Heat up some English muffings and then build the sandwich.  I start with the lettuce at the bottom:

      Thanks! I didn’t mention in the original post but sometimes a thicker steak (especially a cheaper cut) can be difficult to eat. If you invest in a quality cut of a boneless, thin sirloin it really goes a long way. Let me know if you try them and how they turn out.
